Project Slayers 2 Breathing Styles
Breathing Styles are the swordfighting techniques of the Slayer path. Each style reframes your moveset, stamina economy, and matchups — so your pick defines your entire build. Below is every style revealed in early access and developer previews.
Obtaining a Breathing Style
In the Slayers franchise, Breathing Styles are learned through trainers, quests, or spin systems rather than bought outright. Slayers 2 follows that pattern: new Slayers typically start by unlocking a base style, then pursue advanced styles through progression. Exact unlock steps (trainer locations, quest chains, or spin odds) are part of the planned progression and will be confirmed at global launch. Plan your character around the style whose kit matches your playstyle, then chase it in-game.

Which Breathing Style Should You Pick?
Water — defensive forms and Dead Calm invulnerability make mistakes forgiving while you learn the engine.
Thunder — Thunderclap and Flash gives the fastest gap-close and guard-piercing burst in 1v1s.
Sun or Flame — sustained burn damage negates demon regeneration and melts raid health bars.
Sound or Mist — rhythm gauges and after-image feints reward players who read opponents.
Roster May Shift at Launch
The styles above reflect the early-access and developer-preview roster. Serpent and Insect are explicitly confirmed as playable in Part 2; other styles follow the franchise lineup shown in official footage. The full global-launch roster, trainer locations, and spin odds can still be adjusted by the developers — we update this page as new previews drop.
